1987: Scott Parker spent a lot of time at Pine Valley Hospital as a child. His father, Fred Parker, was a drug addict. He died of complications as a result of AIDS. His drug use had exposed him to HIV. Now his mother, Cindy Parker, was afflicted with the same ailment. While Cindy underwent tests to see if her medication was helping, Scott spent time at the daycare center. There, he met hospital volunteer and artist Stuart Chandler. Scott loved spending time with Stuart, and soon, so would Cindy.

1988: Scott gave his mother away at the altar to Stuart. Stuart asked if he could adopt Scott. Scott wanted that very much.

1989: Stuart came home one day to talk to Scott. His mother had died of complications from AIDS. Stuart helped Scott come to grips with mortality.

1995: Scott began attending Pine Valley High School. Scott had a crush on his new best friend, Anita Santos. But, she only had eyes for Bobby Warner.

1996: Scott began tutoring runway Laura English. Their relationship blossomed into romance. But Scott still had feelings for Anita. Anita ran away from home after Kelsey Jefferson took her baby away from Anita’s sister, Maria Grey. Scott encouraged Anita, telling her that her family did not blame her for Maria’s pain. Bobby showed up at the carriage house to bring Anita home.

1997: Laura broke up with Scott after Tim Hunter shared nude photos of her he had discovered online. Scott wanted to help Laura, but she wanted to be alone.
Hungarian Princess Gillian Andrassy set her sights on Scott. Scott was going to come into his trust fund on his eighteenth birthday. When Kelsey got word of this, she set her sights on him too.

1998: Scott tried to divide his attention between Gillian and Kelsey. Gillian satiated Scott’s need for sex. Kelsey retaliated by calling immigration on Gillian. Gillian was going to be deported. Scott offered to marry Gillian. But, on their wedding day, Gillian decided to marry Ryan Lavery instead, thinking that he was a millionaire. Liza Chandler had staged the whole situation to keep Gillian away from Scott.
The Chandlers became the target of attack by a crazed man named Lee Hawkins who wrongfully blamed Scot's uncle, Adam Chandler, for the death of his wife, Joy Hawkins. In reality, Adam and Stuart sent Joy into hiding to escape an abusive Lee. While at their fishing cabin, Scott was electrocuted and fell into a coma. When he awoke, Stuart sent Scott to attend college in California to escape Lee’s terror.

1999: Scott returned from film school in California. He decided to work on a new documentary about Pine Valley. He found an assistant in Pigeon Hallow transplant, Becca Tyree. Scott was smitten with the simple Becca. But when their relationship became intimate, Becca spurned his advances. It turned out that Becca was a virgin, and still waiting for marriage. Scott told Becca that he would wait until she was ready to take their relationship to the next level.
That all changed when Greenlee Smythe arrived in Pine Valley. She and Scott had dated back in California. Greenlee still wanted Scott, but he only had eyes for Becca. So, she enacted her plot for revenge. Greenlee arranged for Becca to find a sex tape she had made with Scott. Scott went to confront Greenlee. Scott let down his inhibitions, and slept with Greenlee again. Unbeknownst to him, Becca had caught their tryst.

2000: Scott wanted to be with Becca, but she could not forgive him after seeing him in bed with Greenlee. Becca began seeing Leo duPres. Scott took matters into his own hands when he created a website named virginvictor.com where men took bets as to when Becca would loose her virginity. Scott put the domain account under Leo’s name.
Scott stumbled on a drugged Marian Chandlerin bed with a gigolo named Paolo. Before he could tell his father, Stuart was presumed dead in a fire at his fishing cabin. Scott tried to remain strong for his family, but kept his distance from Marian.
Scott decided he needed a fresh start. He admitted to Becca his role in the website. Then, he enrolled at NYU’s prestigious film school. Eventually, his father was found alive in Las Vegas.
